Building a Compliant Facility in Record Time
This 815-bed negative pressure infection control centre took a mere 120 days to complete. The brand new facility, which is meant to protect the community from possible outbreaks, and offer patients an appropriate environment to receive treatment and recover, complies with all local building regulations and international technical specifications. advanced construction technologies such as Building Information Modeling, Modular Integrated Construction, and Live Model Coordination were deployed. Although the ward blocks are modular and prefabricated off-site, murals, bright colours, vertical gardens, and other visuals are integrated in the design to soften any impersonal or industrial look.
