DFA Design for Asia Awards 2021 l Grand AwardA New Beginning for Community Recycling in Hong Kong
The new community recycling network covers all 18 districts. More than 130 collection points for at least eight common types of recyclables are provided. The rebranding is based on the word “green”, and the logo looks like the letter “G”, and features the number six, homonymous with green in Cantonese. The visual identity includes the meaning of circulation and recirculation in an endless cycle. Each recycling receptacle has its own colour-coded opening the average size of the recyclables.
