DFA Design for Asia Awards 2021 l Bronze Award l Environmental Design | Culture & Public Spaces
The public lavatories in the park opposite Tokyo International Airport, have been reinvented as a viewing pavilion with wooden benches, furniture and an observation platform for a view of the sea and the aeroplanes. The signage is gender-neutral, which is unusual in Japan.
