DFA Design for Asia Awards 2021 l Bronze Award l Communication Design | Publication
Shine is a children’s interactive book, inspired by Southeast Asian puppet-shadow plays, where the story unfolds by torchlight, casting shadows on each page. The black cover and UV-printed title hint at shadows and darkness, and the translucent paper accentuates light and shade. The clever design brings an element of surprise and magic to children’s bedtime stories.
