DFA Design for Asia Awards 2020 l Merit Award l Environmental Design | Workspaces
Inspired by the banyan tree, which has for centuries been regarded as a symbol of shelter and strength, the factory features a 30-metre wooden structure at the very centre of the building. The branches embrace an eight-floor foyer, and the walls are made of a translucent polymer material, which allows sunlight to flow naturally throughout the complex.
