DFA Design for Asia Awards 2020 l Bronze Award l Environmental Design | Hospitality & Leisure Spaces
This project has transformed an abandoned village in Jiangsu into a boutique B&B. Five existing buildings and 20 new ones have been combined using modern construction methods but traditional materials. The new building’s design pays tribute to the surrounding mountains and is based on the concept of 3R (Reduce-Reuse-Renew) and low energy consumption.
