DFA Design for Asia Awards 2020 l Merit Award l Product and Industrial Design | Homeware
Composed of a stone weight, a cylindrical glass bottle and a wooden lid, Picklestone makes pickling easy and mess-free. The kitchenware is designed to streamline the process of making tsukemono, a traditional Japanese dish. All components are detachable and easy to clean, and the stones are domestically sourced to support stone craftsmen affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.
