DFA Design for Asia Awards 2020 l Merit Award l Communication Design | Typography
Designed for the New York Type Directors Club Annual Exhibition in Taiwan, the visual identity drew inspiration from both Chinese type and Latin fonts. Fragmented alphabets are placed on top of eight basic strokes, the foundations of Chinese characters, printed in primary colours. The juxtaposition of fonts conveys the multicultural context of the exhibition.
