“Ming is organised, professional, dedicated and flexible”
Ming earned his BA in Design (Visual Communication) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and has won the Golden Pin Design Award three years running. He was a speaker at MaD Asia in 2019.
As Art Director at studiowmw, Ming specialises in event identity and branding. He has worked non-profit organisations and projects such as the PMQ, and the Fashion Farm Foundation, as well as Hong Kong Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture and Hong Kong International Photo Festival 2019. On the commercial side, Ming executed the branding project for the TWGHs Lucina Laam Ho Kindergarten.
Ming believes in offsetting design and storytelling with curatorship, and wants to learn more about presenting design-driven events that attract the public. He is interested in the way that medium-sized Japanese companies organise neighbourhood promotional projects, and the more systematic way that larger British ones manage information and plan strategies and branding, and he wishes to bring both approaches back to Hong Kong.
Ming wants to work in London with Winkreative, a creative and branding agency focuses on narrative-based advertising and branding projects, and in Osaka with UMA design. His objective is to strike a balance between NGOs and commercial clients with a wider and diverse perspective.
