CULTURALLY SPECIFIC DESIGN
Ideographs is a portmanteau of ‘typography’ and ‘ideographs’. Shifting away from typography, a design concept enshrined in Western typeface design, Ideographs is created using an alternative approach which combines letters with images, Korean alphabets with Chinese characters. The font seeks to explore a new graphic design approach to Eastern handwriting.
