Gemgarden is a high-end Chaoshan restaurant in Shenzhen, which launched an own-brand gift box named "Moonlight" for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Designed to evoke subdued rural moonlight, designers hollowed out the box in the form of a traditional Chaoshan flower-shaped window, and accented the moon in bronze to reflect light. Inside is sparkling indigo paper like a quiet starry night. The packaging paper is environmentally sustainable, and sourced from Germany, and the laser engraving and absence of lamination reduce the use of ink and the environmental impact of printing.
