Dinoxscope is a high-definition, 1,000x magnification, ergonomically designed microscope, part educational tool and part toy that provides science exploration, and a fun and immersive experience to children over three years old. Its clamshell head protects the eyepieces and the lens, and the arm extends down to the base with a LED light for illumination, holding the stage where children put their specimens for examination. The neon green of Dinoxscope’s non-toxic plastic casing playfully evokes a cartoon dinosaur character, with which a child embarks on a journey of discovery of the natural world. The eyepieces tilt at 45°, and the adjustable light source powered by two AA batteries.
