DFA Design for Asia Awards 2021 l Merit Award l Environmental Design | Hospitality & Leisure Spaces
Located at a major traffic junction in southern China, this massive high-end commercial building covers 210,000 square metres of land. The design is simple, elegant and streamlined, its twisting curves and smooth surfaces strategically positioned for solar energy-saving. The shopping mall specialises in the outdoors, from rooftop gardens to landscape corridors, providing a cosy, luxurious, car-free public space in the middle of the city.
