In Ulsan, Korea, the Closed house, Open house is a holiday home designed and built for owners used to their privacy, but who also enjoy mountain scenery. From the outside, the house appears to be surrounded by concrete walls, but the interior is airy and bright, and several courtyards lead to a yard that is open at one end, though parallel concrete walls make it seem enclosed. The house is divided into spaces where people can be alone or together to read and write poetry and socialise.
