The secret of the unmatched sweetness of these Japanese tomatoes is the winter sun. Grown in pure white winter of Echigo and Niigata, these tomatoes are packed with sweet umami flavours. To highlight the specialty tomato known as ‘overwintering tomato’, designers combine the visuals of tomato and a hibernating polar bear to create an iconic mascot for the product. Taking sustainability into account, the product packaging is made of recycled materials.
