When you combine cats and Japanese milk bread, two things beloved by many, you get neko neko shokupan, a cat-shaped toast. Created to spice up breakfast, the product embodies the idea of ‘lovely delicious’. The icons of loaf bread and cats, though simple, effectively create a sense of childish innocence and playfulness. The successful branding has attracted much attention on social media and even become the trending topic at one point.
