Bodin was trained as a bioengineer at Rice University, and then worked at the NASA Space Center Houston, where he designed and engineered spacesuits and support systems. He got his Master in Product Design at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Milan, and was awarded the ADI Compasso d’Oro International Award as a young talent for his original cookware designs.
When he returned to Hong Kong in 2017, he co-founded the Yellowdot Design. The studio specialises in product design and new retail concepts, ranging from electronics, home appliances, lighting, and eyewear to handcrafted objects and furniture. The sunglasses and eco-packaging collection of OLIVIO & CO received many international awards. His goal is to create timeless and internationally successful products, bringing innovation and new ideas from Hong Kong to the world.
