toio™ has two small cube-shaped robots, which players control with a console and two rings, one for each robot, called the corecube. A display can be attached to the system for players to visualise movement and use the two corecubes on their own or mount favorite small toys or paper craft on them in order to engage in various forms of play. The idea behind the ring is to give all players, including small children, hands-on experience manipulating small robots and unleash their creativity. Although Toio seems simple, creative players can turn it into a stimulating and versatile game/toy interface and platform that entertains and sparks the imagination.
