The park sets a new course for innovative urban revitalisation by reviving a unique piece of Shanghai’s history. With the recent redevelopment of the former industrial riverfront into a mixed-use district, this historic strip has been transformed into a public street and park. The project sets the tone for the city’s new lifestyle with an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable approach.
