This project invokes the spirit of Holiland, the famous Chinese bakery chain, in its interior architecture. Its post-industrial futurist aesthetic celebrates the client’s breakthrough in the food industry, and the mechanical elements represent technological advances in standardization and automatic food production. The entire space maintains a clean, cold colour tone through the use of aluminium foam and stainless steel, which create a contrast between the refrigerated interior and the warm bakery goods. A bold design which has forged a strong, confident brand image for this pioneering bakery.
