Hunhun's Notes chronicles a designer’s lifelong career and his creative inspiration. The book is wrapped in a white cloth covered with notes and drawings in black ink. The cloth, the rustic way it is tied and the Chinese ink painting give the book a unique handcrafted feel, as do the paper and binding, and it is filled with black ink drawings like a notepad. This whole treatment elevates casual sketches into meaningful work allowing a tantalizing glimpse of the design process.
