These leather ornaments are a modern interpretation of Korean traditional clothing, Hanbok and Norigae. Norigae were ornaments tied to the coat rings of Hanbok, the traditional costume that dates back to the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897). Intended to preserve an important cultural heritage, the tassels combined with modern geometric forms revive a long-lost fashion tradition. Each geometrical shape symbolises a different aspect of fortune, bringing health and happiness to its wearer, and the charming designs restore tradition to modern life.
