SPROUTING NEW BEGINNINGS
The new HANACHI Tray and Stool dismisses the bad name of domestic timber such as cypress and cedar. Featuring a radial alignment of wood pieces, the parallel grains provides a bright and urban feel that one could hardly imagine from cypress and cedar. Leveraging of the skilled craftsmanship of Japanese carpenters, the newly developed innovative joinery techniques create stable, high precision triangular joints that make these products possible. More than a designer product, it creates a new market demand for domestic forestry goods.
