MAGNUM OPUS
The whole book design, from cover to binding, exemplifies traditional Chinese bookmaking techniques. The minimalist book sleeves design sets a calm tone for the poetry book, forming a huge contrast with the inner pages. The book paper is textured and adorned with foil, which exudes an opulence one would associate with the first national library collection. The book is bound using the traditional stab binding while the colourful strings used adds a touch of modern playfulness.
