STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD
Architects revitalised this small hotel in the southern Thai city by building an impressive facade and improving on the interior design. Avoiding excessive ornamentation, the revamp re-organises existing architectural elements and recodes the remaining finishing. To give visual significance to a building surrounded by shophouses and apartments, architects use a combination of building material including round bar steel curtain, brick and wood to sculpt the distinctive silhouette of the hotel.
