SILVER-AGE LIVING
Putting into practice the Japanese architectural ideology of integrating the garden into living spaces, the architect created a serene environment in this senior service apartment in central Tokyo. The C-shaped building opens to a lush multi-level courtyard in the centre that is accessible from all angles. The greenery planted throughout the structure, combined with cutting-edge technology such as circadian lighting and floor heating, provide a safe and healthy environment for the elderly residents.
