Praised for its simplicity, lightness and modern, the exhibition hall of the Bi-city Biennale embodies a site-specific design language. The design retains the original walls, tiles and other materials of the building, and combines with modern glass and steel structures to achieve a harmonious taste of the building and the surrounding environment. The design considers the lives of local residents, surrounding streets, courtyards, landscapes, and the most appropriate balance between the building and the surrounding environment. In the landscape planning, the large banyan tree behind the site is preserved and becomes part of the landscape. The waterscape of the atrium of the building serves as a transition between the old and new buildings and as an outdoor landscape.
