Gateway to the Forest

Set within Ashizuri-Uwakai National Park in Ehime, this timber pavilion reimagines the visitor center as a quiet threshold between architecture and nature. Local wood, stone, and soft daylight shape an open, breathable space, where furniture echoes river-worn stones—inviting tactile connection and contemplative rest within the forest.
