Forms of Silence

Exploring the dialogue between material and meaning, this collection presents thirteen handcrafted prototypes that reimagine the role of local furniture in an industrialised world. Created by designers Dio Wong and Renatus Wu with the carpentry team MADE, each piece transforms quiet reflection into tangible form—where weight, balance, and time are expressed through wood. Charred ash, hollow tables, twisted legs, and layered textures speak of endurance, memory, and change. Through silent craftsmanship, what was once hidden or forgotten becomes visible again. Here, furniture is not only made to serve, but to question, to reveal, and to endure in stillness.
