Secret Revival
Hailed by many as the trailblazer of the speakeasy boom in Hong Kong, 001 has embraced a new lease of life with a befitting new look. Now located in Tai Kwun, its entrance signage pays homage to the site’s prison heritage, while retaining the bar's original doorbell from its previous location. With a glossy ceiling, Chesterfield-style curtains, suede booths and a theatrical ladder, the refreshed design fuses art deco elegance with a sultry underground vibe, transporting visitors to a quintessential speakeasy experience.
