Living Garden
In spring 2023, JIA Garden commissioned a project to create a living exhibition space inspired by traditional Chinese gardens. The design unfolds through a sequence of spaces—Pending Garden, Meeting Garden, Wandering Garden and Lingering Garden—each incorporating natural elements within the existing two-story framed structure. Utilising natural light and surrounding greenery, the interior features biophilic design, rock landscapes and flowing spatial forms. The second floor integrates uneven walls and outdoor textures, blurring the boundary between inside and outside. The result is a dynamic environment blending art, nature and architecture.
