Hazel graduated with first-class honours in Environment and Interior Design from the Poly U School of Design in 2018. During her studies, she became fascinated by the artistry of craftsmanship and the allure of copper, which both evolve over time, mirroring people's interaction.
In 2018, Hazel co-founded COXPER, a platform dedicated to bringing imperfect beauty into people's lives. In 2021, she collaborated with Wah Gor, a local calligraphy master, to create "Craft-ligraphy," a fusion of calligraphy's elegance and the rustic charm of craftsmanship. The resulting artwork was shown in Crafts on Peel, Hong Kong, and at London Craft Week in 2023, and received a very positive response. Hazel seeks to challenge the boundaries of design, and to demonstrate that it extends beyond paper and sketches, while she explores the boundless possibilities of metal craftsmanship.
