This photo studio and office in one of Kyoto's historic machiya townhouses has a showcase with camera storage in the entrance, and then a café and reception desk. Traditional features like the Toori Niwa alleyway-garden and Hibukuro hearth-skylight have been kept, but the central atrium and reflective pool come as a surprise.
