A TRIBUTE TO THE BREWERY
The interiors of both Garyu, the brewery, and Shuraku, the historical experience centre, are embedded in their regional identity, and their 200-year-old brewing traditions. The sustainable local materials and reclaimed wood used for them are not just environmentally conscious, from the Echizen Washi wallpaper to the Shakudani stone floors, but the cedarwood furnishings reflect the brewery's age, immersing visitors in a tactile experience of Fukui's land and culture, and rich heritage.
