EXUBERANT MINIMALISM
This four-storey townhouse redesign focuses on making the most of natural light and space. The major challenge of the restoration lay in the large, dim basement, where a transformative remodelled stairwell has been introduced, which not only connects all the floors, but also acts as a strong statement piece. The stacking blocks bring logistical continuity, and double as architectural sculptures, calling attention to the linearity and artistry of the whole arrangement.
