SERENITY FROM SIMPLICITY
This is a well-designed, understated coffee shop that provides a peaceful, relaxed escape from the adjacent busy motorway. Here the synergy of architecture, interior, and landscape is able to create undefined spaces, where the pursuit of Instagram fame becomes less important than the genuine appreciation of coffee. Along the building's facade, continuous rooflines merge with the existing structures, while green spaces weave seamlessly both between and within using reflective mosaics. The interiors echo this simplicity, and counters with uneven contours both encourage privacy and focus attention on the coffee.
