INTERWEAVING THE TRADITIONAL AND CONTEMPORARY
The Chilseok pattern takes in Korea's rich heritage, intricately merging traditional motifs with contemporary product design. Central to this innovation is the Hangeul Charm series, inspired by the Norigae – an accessory once worn by women on jackets and skirts that can be traced back from the Shilla to the Joseon Dynasty. Fashionable modern interpretations have leather pieces, and each design reflects personality and everyday wear. A modern nod to the past, this project heralds renewed interest in timeless Korean traditions and crafts.
