Artist and photographer Daido Moriyama explores the very essence of roaming, using a small camera as a wanderer's tool, and encapsulating the roving spirit intentionally with slow speeds, flashing, camera shakes, and imperfect compositions. Moriyama’s unique style and sentiments are transposed in an urban tableau, and his name and the exhibition details are in a street-inspired typeface that transforms textual elements into tangible urban artifacts such as cement-type sculptures, road signs, and banners. Captured in 120 film format, the final composition pays homage to the raw, prowling soul of Moriyama's work.
