Alex received his Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Architecture at the University of Plymouth in 2017, and got his Higher Diploma in Architectural Studies at Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE) in 2015. He has just graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Master of Architecture.
As Alex looks for a balance between the nature and architectural design, his experimental approach to expanding the boundaries of architecture enters the realm of biomimicry and machinery. In his graduation project ‘Symbiotic Interaction in Architecture’, water and social infrastructures are combined to develop a new approach to water mitigation measures in Hong Kong. Alex wants to contribute to the housing environment in Hong Kong, particularly transitional housing development and modular integrated construction.
