interwoven LIGHT AND SHADOW

Only 10% of all used glass bottles are recycled, so that over 200 tonnes are sent to landfills every day. This large art installation is made by turning 2,500 glass bottles into a thousand colours arranged in mesmerising gradients, creating a vibrant composition of light and shadow. Visitors learn about glass recycling through an immersive experience, and the site also hosts educational workshops on DIY glass recycling and handicrafts.
