BORROWED VIEWS
This Buddhist institution exudes serenity and calm, despite its location in downtown Hong Kong. The design was inspired by the traditional elements of Chinese landscape, which emphasise framing outdoor scenery so that it may be seen through symbolic portals and window frames. The solid wood, stone, and natural materials invite visitors to touch them, and feel their connection to nature.
