SPATIAL REFORM
A historical site renovated, this community centre in a residential complex establishes a sense of openness and transparency, as opposed to the mystery and secrecy often associated with these old buildings. The two guardhouses and stone walls at the entrance were demolished to create a more welcoming atmosphere, but the original main entrance was kept, and the first floor was split into a gallery and a café, so visitors can access the building easily through the wide glass doors on both sides.
