Knitup is democratising the fashion design industry by allowing clients to develop a single design at an average cost of USD130 per style without a minimum order. Design preferences are specified by uploading an image, and styles are then rendered in real time with virtual samples prior to confirming production. An alternative to traditional modalities for fashion production, Knitup makes fashion design more accessible, and reduces both cost and waste by mass production. The platform has now assisted over 120 creators across four continents.
