JUST A WAVE, OR PART OF THE OCEAN?
This ambitiously conceived calendar commemorates the establishment of the Lang Award. “Lang” means wave in Chinese, and the calendar consists of multiple die cut pages stacked together in a black box so that the swirls of uncoated cotton paper look like a spectacular scene of roaring waves. Various designs are printed on the paper, which has a subdued, seasoned matte texture.
