2022 marks a poignant anniversary of Hong Kong’s cultural development – the diamond jubilee of three key cultural powerhouses, namely the Hong Kong City Hall (HKCH), the Hong Kong Museum of Arts (HKMoA) and the Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL). To celebrate this milestone, the design team created a distinctive logo: the triple ‘60’ figures in different scales and shapes, commemorating the occasion when the originally affiliated agencies joined forces again after six decades. Its extreme simplicity allows great usability, and the logo is inserted into publications and marketing materials across the three entities, and used as an ornamental visual element on the facade of the Hong Kong City Hall.
